About Elevate

Elevate Martial Arts & Fitness is a multi-program youth training facility in Sugar Hill, GA: martial arts, Jiu-Jitsu, Ninja/Parkour, and Sugar Hill's Best After School & Summer Camp all under one roof. We're not a single-sport gym renting space; we're a full facility built around helping kids build real skill, confidence, and strength across multiple disciplines. We're actively growing, with a second location planned in the next couple of years.

Our Ninja/Parkour program launched four months ago and is still being built. That's not a downside we're hiding. It's the opportunity. You'd be shaping the program from its early stage, not inheriting someone else's system.

We're looking for a Lead Coach to run classes and help grow that program alongside us.

The Role

You'll be the primary coach for Ninja/Parkour at Elevate, teaching our existing curriculum and helping refine it as the program grows. This isn't a build-it-from-scratch role (we already have a curriculum in place), but you'll have real input into how it evolves as class capacity grows and we move toward our second location. You'll report directly to Shea Irby, our Martial Arts/Ninja Director, with direct access to ownership.

What You'll Do

Coaching

Plan and lead Ninja/Parkour classes across age groups and skill levels
Teach and help refine our existing curriculum, stations, and progressions
Support birthday parties and camp programming when they overlap with Ninja/Parkour
Identify athletes ready for more advanced or competitive-track training

Facility & Safety

Own equipment checks and obstacle rigging/maintenance for the Ninja/Parkour space
Follow and help improve safety protocols
Keep the space organized and ready for classes, camps, and parties

Growth

Give input as the program scales toward more hours and, eventually, our second location
Weigh in on new offerings (competitive team, specialty camps, adult classes)
Communicate with parents on athlete progress
What We're Looking For
Hands-on coaching background in ninja warrior, obstacle training, gymnastics, parkour, or a related discipline
Comfortable teaching a wide age range, from young beginners to teens chasing more advanced skills
Strong communicator with kids and parents
Reliable and consistent: you'll be a primary face of the program
Interested in growing with an early-stage program under an established director
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified before start)
Nice to Have
Competitive ninja/obstacle racing background
Experience in a multi-program facility (martial arts, gymnastics, or similar)
Experience teaching from an existing curriculum vs. building your own
