There are four options for getting Certified
Level 1 and 2
In-Person
SPOTTED is the first of its kind, Ninja and obstacle course coach certification, developed and taught by Ninja athletes and coaches that have competed on American Ninja Warrior. SPOTTED stands for Safe Progressive Obstacle Training Techniques Education. Our mission is to help progress the sport of ninja by helping gyms run safer, more efficient, more successful ninja programs. The SPOTTED ninja certification starts with the most fundamental coaching and spotting techniques to ensure that, first and foremost, every coach is equipped to run a safe class. Then, we delve deeper with hands on training to show proper skill progressions, creative obstacle course setups, and all of the safety precautions to take for each progression. SPOTTED is safe and progressive training!
Duration - 16 hours, (2 days, 8 hours each with two one hour lunch breaks)
Cost - $1,000 per participant. We will send a Master instructor to you to host a certification at your gym with a minimum sign-up of three participants. Travel costs are additional, if applicable.
Class size - 6
We keep the class small to ensure that coaches are given a robust and personally tailored training. We can add an additional Master Instructor and allow 6 additional (12 total) coaches to join.

Level 1
Virtual
This is the first step to becoming a fully certified, Level Two Ninja Coach. Also known as the Assistant Coach Certification, this course delivers all of the material at the foundation of understanding the sport of ninja including how to design courses, classes, and curricula.
This course is now being offered virtually!
If you're interested in getting Level 2 certified, you have two options

Take the Level 1 Virtually then sign up for Level 2 in-person.

Join or host a Level 1 and 2 certification in-person. Click here to request dates.

Step 2. Renew online ($50 for all levels)
About the Attestation
Our SPOTTED coaches are the best! We know this because we offer the most robust certification process in the world and offer ongoing support to help coaches be the best they can be! We also take renewal seriously. It should not be just a matter of paying to renew - to know that our coaches are going a good job, we ask for confirmation of ongoing teaching practices (to confirm that you still have chops!), continuing education (to expand what you know), and a short quiz (to ensure that you have retained core knowledge). The attestation is a short (10 question) form that can be completed in a matter of minutes, but it's an important part of our process of promoting growth and a standard of quality amongst our awesome ninja coaches.
