There's an overwhelming amount of awesome skills to learn in the ninja sport. However even the greatest Ninja Warriors will always practice their every day ninja basics. Here's a great simple way to progress your training.

Dead hangs and pull ups are only the beginning. Its also important to train your grip types to prepare for the variety of crazy obstacle holds you will find on a course. Many of these grip types come from the climbing community. How many grip types can you name?

Ninja is commonly a more upper body sport so hopefully these every day ninja basics help you or your students on their training journey. Stick with it and remember every extra second or pull up rep you sneak in just might be the one that helps you unlock that new skill or obstacle you have been trying to master.
