Warped Wall Basics

How to Spot, teach, and practice the Warped Wall.

  • It all begins with a proper warm-up! Make sure the legs are ready for not only the explosive movement, but also have the flexibility to handle the bending required to run up the ramped surface!

  • Keep your chest toward the wall! Turning on the Warped Wall can lead to ankle twists and increase your chance of tripping.

  • Start slow! 50% power on your first attempt will not only give you the confidence to go higher on your next attempt, it will advance your warm-up, getting you even better prepared for a big attempt at the top.
